I have seen a few years over half a century and am a native of the western region of Nova Brittania, as is my wife of (now) 28 years, Marca Annia Megas Machinatrix.
We are staff to 4 cats: Miss Teia Honey (11 6/12), Silver Kestrel the Ransacker (10 2/12), Hildiekatt Halfshadow the Harrier (8 7/12) and Chesapeake Bandylegs the Hunter (7 11/12). We are fond of excess in naming our felines :D
I work as a merchandiser for a "big box" home improvement store and Machinatrix is "semi-retired," drawing on a service related disability and keeping busy with her veterans' groups, plus a dog re-training program.
I write quite a bit, we cook, brew and keep up the house and yard together...
